“Having studied Exercise and Health at University for 3 years, worked in Film and TV for 5, I picked up my brushes and started from scratch again. In the past few years I have developed a unique style, completely self-taught. Working in oils and using high quality canvas and frame material on a large scale, the end results have been highly commended. By combining a simple, fluid-like style with detailed finishing touches, utterly original works of art are produced.
I leave the eye detail until the end. Most of my paintings do not come “alive” until this point. I firmly believe that the eyes are the gateway to the soul, so particular attention is devoted to getting the eyes absolutely right. The use of a flat background colour ensures that the subject is also kept as the central focus. This style also lends itself very well to fit in with today’s modern living and complements your home’s decor and furnishings.”
